The Yellow Wallpaper

Enough to drive anyone mad!
Wonder if Charlotte Gilman Perkins had a clock like that on her wall?

Don't know what I'm talking about? Shame! Try this:

In my B+W album because it is a b/w conversion but with a strong tint
Very intriguing with a touch of creepy!

Wallpaper stripping hmmm....My mum painted the bathroom walls yellow once - rather nauseating. I'm just reading The Mirror World of Melody Black which I would sum up as bipolar caricature.

The clock here is very 'grounding'!

Steven King-ish without a doubt. I sufficiently unnerved. Fave! I will have to find the story and read-thanks for mentioning it.

@helenhall Thanks Helen. Didn't know it had been made into a play.... who, when, where?

@joysabin Thanks Joy. It's a classic and an 'ought to' read. American feminism in the 1890s.... can't say you'll enjoy it, of course!
