The brutal slicing of the scene by the rail (the leading lines) so as to put the main subjects on the wrong side was quite deliberate; yet those lines lead the eye to where the subjects are heading. And hopefully they are balanced to some extent by the small figures on the left. Or did you see something quite different?

i really like this... there are so many elements here, and yet they are all distinct and somehow manage to create a complete image, rather than a jumble... so nicely done!
