This dirt track takes us home. Turn the corner and you find yourself by a small lake. A python lives here (a huge snake) but he is very shy. We rarely meet. There is also a family of mongoose that reside here and lots of guinea fowl, monkeys and an owl. This stretch of bush is one of my favorites on the farm, because of all the animal families that live here. If you drive slowly you are guaranteed to see something.
I love road photos...especially ones like this that "turn", leading me to want to know what is around the corner. Having read what you describe, I'm not sure I would want to turn the corner and see a large snake. The mongoose might lure me, though. Wonderful photo.
