Taken yesterday. Not sure what kind this is. I have been trying to google it and think it may be a Carpenter Bee?

What a great find, lovely capture. I believe this is a great pied hoverfly, but do google to check that as I'm guessing! I know there is a black and white hoverfly, called a great pied, and I think these wings look more hoverfly than bee.
