Have no idea what this flower is. It was part of a Fynbos bouquet of flowers I was bought today. (Because I'm worth it - ;-)

It looks like a bud of one of the Protea family. Offhand I cannot remember which one but I will ask a friend who grows them for export!

@ziggy77 from what I can find out these coud be either Leucadendron loeriense ( http://www.plantzafrica.com/plantklm/leucaloerinse.htm ) or Leucadendron strobilinum ( http://www.plantzafrica.com/plantklm/leucadenstrobi.htm ). Sorry I cannot give you a better identification.
