Cherries at Night

89 / 365
So, the quad looks almost as cool this time of year at night as it does during the day.

I really don't like editing photos. I can shoot all day, but editing drives me crazy. I'm normally OK when I pick one photo from a shoot to edit and upload, but I hate editing entire shoots when I give people a bunch of pics and I have to edit them all. I always just do very basic edits. It's really hard to get the color balance right on long exposure shots with all of the different light sources. I even shot in RAW and it still was difficult. If you think this photo has bad color, you should have seen the original.

a glorious shot

I don't think it's at all a bad shot. Yes, the front lamp dominates and if there is a way to dull that a bit, it'd be worth it. Otherwise, I think it's gorgeous. Love the way the canopy of blossom is illuminated.

I like your philosophy, if I can describe it, get it right the first time. Editing should be minimal. This is a captivating shot. The low angle adds to the mood.
