Cream then jam OR Jam then cream?? Sconn or Scone??

Another sacrifice made for the project, I had to eat both versions to see which I prefer. One is Cornish the other Devonish, don't know which is which though.
Making me hungry! Great foodie shot!

I've had cream teas in Cornwall, Devon and Dorset and always had lovely fresh jam first and scrumptious cream on top!!

I thought it was cream first (to interact with the fat in the scone) and then jam...!!! Either way is just delicious!!!

The suffering you must have endured for the project! Must have been hell! 😳😉😉

I always put the cream on the top but must try the other way round for test purposes of course.

I thought it was cream first to take the place of butter, but both are good!

Depends on how thick the cream is. Definitely 'scon' but whatever way, yum! Nice shot.
