Close up for Texture

So I Googled abstract photography and it seems it's very macroish - you get so close you don't get to see the whole object.
I might have a go at ETSOOI later

I like the different textures and there is some abstractness to the shot. A softer feel, with focus on the string could result in more if an abstract feel. You could also try using a wider aperture and a shallower dof. All that being said it is still a very nice shot.
I'm not sure if there's an EOTB challenge on the go at the moment but if there is you should tag this shot.
