nice! i find that the farther my subject is from the lights, i get softer bokehs. that's why i am frustrated with my bokeh, i almost have to be outside my door to get the effect i want, then the door closes on me. :-P
@homeschoolmom thank yo @ajisaac that many all on one string on a 5' tree! @summerfield is this bokeh soft?? Tried with normal lens but didn't work and was length of room away from real tree lights with telephoto. Still got lot to learn @bill_fe thank you, followed your advice and have been boring Him with not quite right shots. Will keep practicing. Thanks again for taking time to help!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - quite soft, yes. the smaller your aperture number the better the bokeh comes out, i think. i'm never satisfied with mine, although i do have a few that i use as layers every now and then.
