I didn't realise little egrets have such bright yellow feet. Our Wildlife of Great Britain book, circa early 1990s, says these birds are rare visitors and don't breed. How nature has changed in a few decades!!!
I remember the first time I saw one it was great excitement, now they are common and certainly there is a large breeding colony in Pagham Harbour, West Sussex
We have Little Egrets at Sissinghurst, but only in the winter and they were so interesting to see. A great shot - he has put the brakes on just before leaving the photo!!
