The light was gorgeous, but by the time I'd qietly got dressed, found keys, camera adn tripod and driven the mile to the view point it had changed. It was so cold too, frost on the car to scrape off too!! Light was rubbish but I liked the twinkles in the city so shot that instead of a flat sunrise. When I got home and made a cuppa I looked out the window and the clouds had parted and there was a golden orb in the sky which was a dramatic orange.
Lesson for today? Wait in the car for the light to do what you hope it will and check time of sunrise. Also change time on camera to be correct one for those looking at exif data, as mine is 2 hours fast!
@ludwigsdiana and i was impatient! @megpicatilly it was dawn!!! @kwind i actually think its totally out oif focus but it seems to work! Thank you! @wendyfrost think i was half asleep too!!! @wag864 i do! Thasnk you :)
Or, you could leave the camera time alone and mess with the minds of all the folks who will wonder if the sun rises at an odd time where you live. Hee hee.
