Dippy the Diplodoccus is on tour of the UK for 2 years, going up to Birmingham at the end of next week. I didn't manage a decent photo of the plastercast of this sixty foot long, Jurassic giant, that somehow has been squeezed into the main exhibition area of the County Museum.
Dippy is standing on Roman mosaics which are embeded into Victorian Parquet.
