I only took 130 photographs today at Gilbert White's Garden in Selbourne.
White was an 18th century parson-naturalist and made daily records of the nature around him, recording first and last sightings of birds, insects and plants over many, many years. He would have loved 30dayswild!! His book hasn't ever been out of print!!
We were lucky to see a slow worm, froglets, loads of meadow brown butterflies and in one oak tree the nests of an owl, kestrel and ducks.
What a superb capture, Jackie! I am still trying to get one face-on as good as this!
Will have more time to hang out amongst the flowers once school is out.
