I like the centre buttons on your paper poppies. They look sturdy and would keep the poppy fastened. We just have a straight pin and are forever losing poppies.

I doubt they will. I have a knitted poppy I have worn for years. You can always unravel them and turn them into stuffing for toys or cushions, should the inclination take you......
Even though I don't buy a poppy anymore as I bought a beautiful expensive poppy brooch from the British Legion two years ago but it doesn't stop me donating into the tin every year to thank them for the marvellous work they do.
