My randomly chosen tags were pants, so I picked both Vikki's dictionary words and two of the tags (not sure how randon bokeh was in my choosing!)
Delia's Creole Christmas cake is the best, but I (everyone gasp!) adapt her recipe. I do however tick off a list of ingredients as she sensibly suggests.
The fruit will macerate in this bowl for weeks, until I can be bothered to add rest of ingredients and bake into a cake. I'm enjoying a coffee in that mug, the pencil is in the special pencil place from where it will mysteriously move when I next need it and the lights are packed in my props box
The sun is shining, it's my day off instead of my usual day and I think I shall enjoy today as I can taste and move, so feel in the rudest of health!
Nicely done Jackie. I've had fruit macerating for a couple of weeks now, really need to get around to making the cakes. Glad that you're feeling better :)

I need to check out this creole cake recipe. It sounds interesting! I adore baking and love making things I have not made before. I like this shot. It's a lot like my kitchen when I am in baking mode! Coffee is an essential component! I do like that cat mug
@casablanca on the reverse it says All you need is love and your cat!! In gold no less, from Wilco's. Olive "gave" it to Him last Christmas!! Hope your back to baking soon
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Ah, good old Wilko! Taken over where Woolies left off, though I still miss Woolies.....and C&A..... and BHS...... I shall be icing our cake tomorrow, I think. Standing and walking is fine. It's that dodgy sitting thing that's a problem! But Physio again later today.......watch this space!
