I Don't JUST Take Flowers, Honest....................
..............................occasionally I do outdoor stuff!!
Inspired by two photos I saw yesterday, and as I was failing at my get-pushed-challenge decided to do yet another flower shoot.
I wish I'd taken a photo of my studio set up to give you a smile. The boards were supported by bottles of red wine (Vasse Felix so good stuff!), the table top tripod (yep I actually used it!) was at its limit of balance and I had hand held another board blocking the reflections of the dining room (I mean the studio).
You might want to take at look at today's offering from TheDarkroom a collabortive project of very talented photographers and me.
A magnificent capture with stunning detail and reflections. I do have a stupid question Jackie, what boards do you mean? The bottles of wine I can understand ;-) A big Fav!
@ludwigsdiana I use artists' A2 and A3 sized picture boards as backdrops and bases, I have back and white. They're very light but need to be held up, so I use what's in the dining room (wine bottles, salt and pepper mills, pot plants) - anything sturdy enough to keep them balanced.
This is so pretty and so well composed. I love the sharp focus and the detailed veins showing through the petals, as well as the wonderful reflection. Fav for sure.
