Stewed Bluebells

That's what my mum called asparagus.

Served steamed, with butter and poached salmon. Delosh-nosh.

Well I suppose there is a vague similarity but I'm not into eating bluebells! Now asparagus is a favourite - asparagus rolls!

That is our favorite dinner. We usually grill them. Love the photo for the half and half and the way the asparagus catches the light.

Yum! A friend of mine is also very good at finding wild asparagus, which has a more intense flavour.
