Harvest by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Harvest

A lovely paddle in glorious silvery light this morning, only got as far as the marina cafe!! Needed the energy from the cake to paddle back!

Cut the grass(moss), and started to weed. Then pulled up the dying potatoes from the bag they're in, pruned the redcurrants and goosegogs and picked off the fruits, and 'tidied' the rhubarb.

Off to find other ingredients for rhubarb, gooseberry and redcurrent chutney. Or possibly a crumble?? Both!!!

The garden is so dry it's like sand.
Lovely tasty capture

Wow Jackie - you are a whirlwind! And those little red berries are unlike anything I've seen and the chutney you are planning sounds very exotic... :)

A beautiful view of your harvest. You have berries here I've not heard of. I vote rhubarb pie. It's my favorite. Unfortunately rhubarb can be hard to find in the south of the US.
