@francoise challenged me to take a potograph inspired by a fairy tale. So here's Alladin's lamp with the genie just emerging.

2 joss sticks (the garage stinks of vanilla)

Compositing, burning, dodging, sharpenning, (have I mentioned swearing yet?)
It does actaully look a tad more professional if I type BoB!
I am actually quite chuffed with this, but don't mind if I NEVER photograph a joss stick's smelly smoke ever again it was hard work) ( so this is a 4er dogwood, song challenge, crow barred in to composite and get pushed)

I love this. For all the reasons listed above, plus the way that the blue reflection on the right balances the fabulous blue smoke on the left. Meets the bill for sure.
this is fantastic and so well done with the smoke spirals. I like your composition but i love the lamp! i want one, too!!!! aces!
