Shattered Dreams

Annie's challenged me to depict a Christmas story and the song title Shattered Dreams (by Johnny Hates Jazz) popped into my head.

How many of us envisage the perfect Christmas of happy families, correctly timed food and peace abounding; only for it to fall to s##t around you?

I'll do a more fluffy and traditional take tomorrow (perhaps)

very emotive ... i know that divorce lawyers are extremely busy in early january ... so much pressure on people to have a fabulous time ... i think this is a very pretty image in its own right, and wish you and yours a very merry time :)
