We Weren't The Only Foolhardy Couple

The Met Office stated quite clearly not to go out and especially to avoid coastal areas.

Walking into the wind had its own challenges, but with the wind to your back it was positively dangerous, with gusts nearly to blowing me off my feet.

A quick, sneaky, early flash of red.
Crazy to be out in that weather, love the pop of red though ;-)

You nutcase! Though I have a certain sympathy too. When we have been in Scarborough North Bay in high seas, it's just so exciting and pretty irresistible to go out and look at those waves. Though I have to say my preference is to be a good dozen feet or more further inland than this!!

Ooo, first flash of red I have seen!! Is that your lot then? No red on Friday??

It looks quite treacherous out there. Stay safe.

SC works really well. Looks a bit dangerous, for sure.

That is so well done. I love it.

Well taken capture! It shows the heavy weather perfectly.

I really like this, I'm more for watching those souls who brave these types of storms with a hot mug of mulled wine.

Yes, it was a bit windy here too in Wales!

Thank you for my get pushed. What about shooting something industrial or harsh-looking, either black and white or colour?

There doesn't seem to be much leeway between the water and the walkway. It's a super shot - it makes you feel like you're there. :)

nice job capturing the moment. Makes we want to lean into the wind!

Scary looking storm

Getting an early start on the flash. The red jacket helps brighten this bleak weather. Weather is bleak, not the photo. The photo is very nice capture and love the comp.

Definitely looks dangerous- and glad to know you didn't blow away getting that early flash of red in there!

I definitely like the blustery mist and waves and the pop of red in this photo.

Great capture with the flash of red in the storm.

You were a very foolhardy couple. No capture is worth it. I was a navigator for 40 years. And I have great humility for the forces of nature.
February 10th, 2020
@haskar knuckles rapped!!! We were safe honestly!!
February 10th, 2020
