Oh My, Even Trolleys Are Affected

I've seen pics like this taken outside some of our grocery stores. I believe that it's being done to assist people in keeping the right social distancing. Sad that so many people need it to be enforced. I haven't been out since we entered lockdown but will need to get groceries within the next day or two.

I think the trollies are giving the barriers life support.

That is peculiar. Grocery shopping is all that is getting us out. Our store was limiting the number allowed in the store, wiped cart handles and gave us hand wipes, made us follow a red line through the store, had NO self serve, queued with maintained distance between, plexiglas in front of teller, can only use their clean paper bags (can’t bring our reusables), must pay with touchless pay method. Workers were mopping everywhere. I am grateful for the workers. I hope they stay safe.

@shutterbug49 I've not been to supermarket for a while, I was using car park as shortcut when I saw this makeshift barrier and the pavement marked every 2m with tape as well.

@wendyfrost hahaha
@randystreat shame it's necessary to stop people queue jumping
@wakelys lol
@salza He goes shopping for his mum, so does our as same time to reduce risk and multiple trips

@jacqbb it's there to organise the queue
