it works well as a leading line, i think i would have moved a tad to the left and cut the vertical on the right out of the picture, but you might have tried that!.
@kali66@salza Thank you both and I totally agree! I did try that crop, but it then lost the bottom of the seat at the floor and skimmed too close to her head!! I wonder if I should have NOT cropped - so more of the pillar was there?? It is a very pretty pillar, but it did seem to distract from leading line!! So hard to get this photography right isnt it!! @koalagardens@tinley23 Thank you both, nice when an experiment (almost) works
@kali66@salza I put it through PicMonkey and cropped without keeping the original ratio- what do you think now please?? I think it's now a bit cramped and the line now seems to lead from her to viewer!
The golden band leads your eyes to the open book, so I thin it works⌠:-) The woman also serves to focus your attention on the book. I like this. The architecture fascinates me.
I didnât see it before you cropped it but I love the way it looks now. I think the gold stripe is a perfect leading line and I love that it is curved
Never use Picmonkey, it makes me wanna try now. I didnât see your other post either. Great advise from everyone, :-)
Love this shot. Love the curved lines and the focus in the lady.
yes it was worth a cropping, the intent of the leading lines is clear now :)
(I did mean move your feet left when you took it, but now i am just being annoying lol)
