This looks very pretty, too.

The light is magical. Looks like such a lovely walk.

Very pretty, just looks as if it is a different season to the other one. I suppose that is the beauty of editing, you can change something to be what you want it to be.
November 7th, 2020
Very nice, but have to agree, the over saturated editing would probably sell better.
November 7th, 2020
Planning to visit someday soon I hope.
November 7th, 2020
Still beautiful 😍
November 7th, 2020
Yup, equally beautiful, but must admit that autumnal feel of the edited version appeals to me the most.

great to see the original

Really good examples of possibilities

Very lovely shot too!

A lovely place to be pretty and summery in green.

Oh I love this tunnel ...

Not sure why you think it is unsellable! It is gorgeous! A spectacular composition.

Thank you all, I had this tunnel all to myself when I arrived, the sun was just up and the mist had gone, there wasn't an orange or red leaf in sight!!

I had fun playing with the image to get it to how it's seen in FaceAche, Insta, and for sale in local fairs. My experiment got the result I predicted, the over saturated, (cheated?!) photo got more comments and favs and msde PP, this one didn't make TP so my friend who sells photos is right, this one is not popular with buyers

I’m obviously in the minority then, much prefer this one.
November 8th, 2020
I prefer this one because it is more natural, but people are so used to photoshopped over saturated images, they think nature looks like that now, so it sells!
November 8th, 2020
Oh my gosh I had to rethink my idea too. I prefer this one because I could walk down that space easily if it was on my wall. The other one is décor :-)

There is something to be said for both images. The more natural version here is quite nice and appealing for its truer representation. But certainly for color and dynamic impact the other version is compelling in a different way. Art doesn't need to be realistic, even if it is "nature". For me it's about emotion and interest, not necessarily the perfect copy of reality.

@aikiuser Jenn you got me thinking about when photography stopped being reportage and art.

What a lovely lane.

Looks lovely and peaceful.
November 8th, 2020
For some reason this one doesn't show up the swirls as much.
November 9th, 2020
@randystreat it's an unprocessed raw shot, so looks flat as not processed at all.
@gamelee it's such a lovely place
@ninaganci thank you
@roachling I'm sure it's man made, but is a true tunnel to walk through
November 9th, 2020
I've now got autumnal tunnel vision. Fav!
