You did well here. I think the trick is not to get sick if you can help it. Got an Ipso Mori poll thing today in the post doing a survey about my GP. How easy is it to get through on the phone? Poor. To get an appointment same day? Impossible. Does the receptionist ask you details about what is wrong with you? Yes. Unqualified to do so, but yes. Methinks the NHS dream is over in so many ways!

Wonderful composite. Our doctors are only doing video calls also and so-called elective surgeries have been cancelled. I haven’t needed any, but have friends who have had knee surgery cancelled twice now.
@casablanca Learning to composite is a good covid activity. Get an app like SuperimposeX and follow the tutorials. It’s fun and you’ll see it’s not that hard.
@casablanca NHS is probably not entirely at fault. Similar issues here in the US, although they seem to be working on it. It much depends on the office. And COVID isn't helping anything related to efficiency.
@randystreat Very true, though I used to be an NHS worker so I know its inefficiencies from the inside. Current situation is, of course, an absolute nightmare the world over. Wishing you well in your corner of the US.
