Spotted at least three different types of ladybird on the same plant. None of them appear to be our native ladybird.

Seems I found a colony of the invasive harlequin which was spotted in the UK in early 2000s. It quickly become established across British mainland and is now one of the most common species. It feeds on aphids, eggs and worryingly the larvae of other ladybirds.
