Wouldn't Put It On His Head!

Annie challenged me to do food photography, one of my favourite genres- I asked her to make it a bit more of a challenge- so she said go low key.

I am sooooooooooo pleased with this one and got it in 30 shots and just cropping from the left side.

This is lovely! Don't stop just because you got it right! I wonder if you could go even more low key and get just a thin crescent on one side? You'd need to move the light source further behind the subject, but it's something to try if you feel inclined :)

@blueace I did have one with a small crescent, but the apple lost definition and looked flat.
