Old House at Home

For Theme of Homes. This was a home once, now it's a pub that does good beer (if you like that sort of drink) and lovely food.
It dates back to the 16th century and apart from parts of St Faiths Church (which I photographed last month) , it is the only building to survive The Great Fire of 1760 so the oldest dwelling in the town.

Havant doesn't have many of these buildings left. Great shot for the archive.

@jmdspeedy I wonder what will happen if the brewery pulls out, the council are usually happy to pull down old buildings and bung up retirement apartments!!!

Lovely shot of a treasure. I hope that your town council can realize that and leave it be.

Surely this will be a listed building and protected? Sounds like my kind of pub with no straight walls or level floors :)
