My 30 Days Wild pack has arrived so before I planted the seeds I photographed them on my white board.
I struggle with getting whites to be whites, so thought it would be fun to take part in the technique challenge and get the settings wrong on purpous!!!
Clockwise the settings were as follows Cloudy, Daylight, Tungsten and Shade. Camera was on auto. Alternative photo is effect of +/-
@robz thank you, means a lot coming from you the queen of editing!!! @salza it's the best for white- and it WAS cloudy too!!! Thnk I'll be checing out that button more often!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Wow Jackie - what an amazing thing to say!!! I am so chuffed that you like my editing attempts - many of them are just the result of playing, or of getting stubborn and not letting a project win!! Thank you so much.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - i think we should all check and re-set all settings before using the camera. that's one of my follies. i would shoot at night handheld with an ISO of 3200 then i get a jolt seeing my shots the next day at high key with only a trace of anything. and some shots you can never duplicate especially street shots! you should have a grey card to correct your WB once in a while though.
@summerfield grey card?? Didn't understand a word of the speaker at camera club when talking about these and as seemed to be linked so much to photo shop I did switch off!! One day I'll use your tip I'm sure! !!
