Next door dislike cats, and The Lodger in particular, as she sits underneath their bird feeders. Lately she's taken to sitting in their cherry tree monitoring bird activity in their apple tree.
There is no way she'll catch a bird by leaping from one tree to another, and she's so badly hidden they spot her immediately and call out their alarm calls.
This is a lovely picture, beautifully framed by the leaves and the hint of cherries. And the story to see us through the picture made me smile. Enjoy your days "Lodger".
