Storm clouds gathering over the Emsworth mill pond. Those flat tops to the clouds show that they've reached their maximum bouyancy (or something like that!) and are very tall with an awful lot of moisture waiting to fall.
That really IS as still as a mill pond then!! (Or as my son most famously said when he was 9, "oh look, it is as still as a milk pond.........") Lovely shot. It's been pouring here!
