Sunflowers' Reflection (Ribbetted)

Thank you to Mona for her critique and suggestions on this .

Tonight I have taught myself a bit about dodging and burning (still not quite sure what's what with them) but I have manged to brighten the petals and reflected leaves.

I'm not sure I like the end result, it looks faked, but with paractice, understanding, YouTube, reading instructions and a library book or two I'll get bettter (and quicker?)

I do really like Mona's suggestion to make it landscape.
@mona65 Never used dodging or burning, will look it up in a book tomorrow!! thank you, again, for coaching me.

Have looked at both and I have to say I like this one best. It just works so much better, doesn’t quite look right in the landscape one.

Hi Jacky, imho this makes quite a difference and the picture looks more "natural" and stsill intriguing for me. I allowed myself to work a bit on your great original, this would be my quick edit as inspiration (if you care). I set it on "restricted", and opened it only to you. As this is clearly your picture and a great base to work on. https://365project.org/mona65/2015-plan-b-alb/2019-08-08 And I'm sure, even if dodging and burning is new to you today, you will use it on a regulare base in a few weeks. Thats so fun to learn something new, with every picture.

I think this is fine. The arrangement is not a typical flower arrangement but reminds me a lot of a scanned photography image.
