There are many rules and conventions of photography, balance, odds, leading lines, fill the frame, diagonals, no clutter, clear focus, have the object look like it is entering or leaving the frame and facing to the right.
Think I may have broken all of these for my get-pushed- to break the rules?

Well, I don't think you broke as many rules as you think in this photo. The stem actually has an arch that seems to me to be right on the bottom thirds line and it goes from edge to edge. I think this is a lovely view of those drops reflecting the pink flowers. I say "well done."
I think all the negatives balanced out to a positive. Very nice shot. I like the images in the drops also...I think refractions, rather than reflections.
