Into the Bluebell Woods

See that little sunburst on the lensball? It was so hot the log I balanced the ball on started to smoke! I won't tell you what Susan did to snuff out the smouldering area, or what she suggested she could have done!!

I'm sooooooooooooooooo chuffed with this, all of it processed on Eff-Inity without huffing, puffing or effing! And it's a pretty successful shot too!
Even before I saw your tag I was going to say I’m glad that no woods were harmed or burnt down in the making of this photo! It’s a spectacular photo. I love the shallow DOF and the detail in the ball.

A good bit of effing magic to showcase the beautiful bluebells through the lens ball. I confess it was not very ladylike but I used a little bit of saliva to minimise the risk of setting things on fire.

Very cool. You deserved to be chuffed!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Beautiful shot and fun narrative!
@wakelys effective reaction, I thought about another way of minimizing the risk of fire....🚽

Nice, I still haven't attempted to use Affinity and I bought in September. It all looks a bit complicated :)

@merrelyn for the basics it is easy to use, I'm getting to grips with advanced stuff now. There are tons of tutorials on line, I'm told the book is useful.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I've been planning to check out some tutorials but I can't find the time to do it.Out travelling and socialising is about to be seriously curtailed because Graham's having a knee replacement on May 5th. Maybe I'll get to check some out while he's recuperating.
April 17th, 2021
@merrelyn good idea, best wishes to Graham, knee surgery can be tough I'm told.

Look up Affinity Revolution, they're brilliant!!
April 17th, 2021
Stunning shot and I'm glad you didn't burn the woods down. The bluebells live to see another day!
April 17th, 2021
