Of the 191 shots I took 150 captured a droplet hitting the surface (78% success). Of these only 14 made the grade to be edited (7% success rate) and of these I only processed 7 (3% over all success rate)
This one is 1/191 success so I've rounded my success rate to 1%!
very nice. i like the colours. if your camera has a 'sports' feature, you can turn it on and it will capture a series of shots and you have a more likelihood of capturing two or three good shots in one click. and you save your camera's shutter actuation.
@merrelyn hung a bag, with a pin hole, on clothes airer which was standing in the bath, focused on where drops land in casserole dish full of water, set up flash so no ambient light, pressed shutter when drop falling and crossed my fingers.
