Why thirteen again this year? My entry to Ross's challenge won, so it was a 365 favourite. Been a happy year photographically. I got photos of kingfishers, fly agarics and finally nailed water splashes!! (White on white remains my nemesis)
So happy to have met, and done some photogging, with a fair few 365ers: Casablanca (twice), Jacqueline (for a glorious week), Cazzi, 4rky, Hazel, Phil and Carole and of course Sue. During our weekly meetups with the north Americans, Kathy, Katy, Mary and Vikki, we talk 365, world and family issues and continue to throw pigs around to win points.
In 2022, I really wanted to meet up with family and managed to see all my siblings, His siblings and this time last year was not expecting to become a Nana - twice over!!
Plans for next year? I have none, which is unusual for me, as I like my time to be planned, organised and filled. I do have hopes though.
Thank you to all who have taken the time to comment on my photos, for your constructive advice and critique.
My biggest thanks go to Him, always patient, always helpful ( he's a tripod, instruction guide, inspiration, transport and helps decide which photo to upload!) . Dave I really couldn't have achieved all I did this year without your support.
You have had a wonderful photographic year Jackie, watching your skills unfold has been awesome. The opposite for me really, I have pretty much given up with my dslr now as I just could not get the results I wanted. Mostly just use my phone camera now. All the best for 2023, I look forward to following your ongoing journey
Such a year full of great photographs! I do enjoy your comments as well, understand the joy of grandparenting (it only gets better as they grow!) and like you, let the year unfold as it goes. Wishing you and yours all of the best in 2023!
Such a wonderful collage of your achievements, you sure had a wonderful year. I love your narrative too. May 2023 be just as rewarding for you Jackie, Happy New Year :-)
I think everyone has already said it all but it’s been a delight to see your photos and read your comments, you have a talent in both words and pictures (and pottery and glasswork!)
I can see why some of these are your favorites! They are a brilliant portrayal of your year in photos and of your skills. Your presentation of them is just another example of that
Terrific collection and I too, have enjoyed seeing all your creativity unfold here on 365. I mostly appreciate your positive feedback on my endeavors. 2023 is going to be a watershed year for me for all my artistic pursuits.
Beautiful examples of how your photography is blossoming daily. Wonderful loving words toward those who support and encourage you. You are a marvelous mentor, guide and friend. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Happy New Year to you.
