Dry Stone Wall

I always link dry stone walls with 'up north' in The Lakes or The Peak District but there's miles of them here in Dorset.
Are these walls super old?

Beautiful capture of them. It makes my back hurt to think how hard it was and how long it must have taken to accomplish this.

I like to think of the skill it took to stack a wall the distance these tend to run so that the stones stay in place for years and years!

How interesting Jackie not so surprising as the Roman’s brought the technic to Britain two thousand years ago, well spotted and captured:)
