Mountains outside of Cody, Wy are spectacular. They are craggy and tall; some look like they are balancing huge rocks on top of cylindrical rocks. Fascinating. We traveled through part of Yellowstone today - really beautiful country.
Brings back wonderful memories for me! My daughter did a Rotary exchange programme in Cody for 12 months in the mid 1990's! She absolutely loved the countryside and I loved all her photos she sent home :)
My favorite vacation is to go to Jackson Hole, Great Tetons, then Yellowstone for a couple of days before driving to Missoula and on to Glacier. Yellowstone has such diverse landscapes, it has something for everyone. This is a glorious Yellowstone shot.
