Wild Mile by 365karly1

Wild Mile

This is a portion of the Swan River near Bigfork, Montana. Downriver from this section is the "Wild Mile," so named because of the rapids and swift flow where adventurous kayakers float and at times will participate in competitions.
Wow wonderful fall colours and smooth falls!

Great pov and lighting - looks like a fabulous place to watch the kayakers in the summer. Those trees just set this off perfectly!!

If you mind me asking, how long was the exposure and did you use a NDF? I have been toying with long exposures lately and was curious about your experience.

I don't mind at all - in fact, you have reminded me that I need to figure out how to show all of my settings on 365. This was a 1 second exposure with no ND. It was overexposed however and I had to mess with the exposure in Lightroom. Thanks for the question and your lovely comments!
