The Fancy One

More Japanese cherry blossoms are bursting onto the scene. These pink frilly ones are from a Kanzan (Kwanzan) cherry tree, named after a mountain in Japan. Kanzan cherry trees are native to China, Japan, and Korea. (I have seen these trees and blossoms for years, but thanks to this Project, I felt compelled to research this. 365 brings so many learning opportunities! :)
