Blue on yellow with Canada goldenrod (that's really the name) and a Common Blue butterfly (male, with blue upper wings and with a thin dark border and white fringe around the blue)
Goldenrod blooms from late summer through autumn until the first frost (usually in October), so we're right on target.
It's hard to believe that this is the first of September!
I just love this colour combination. How very obliging of the pretty blue butterfly to settle on the lovely golden rod. Beautifully captured Heather. Big Fav.
