Year 2 begins the same way as Year 1.....with a cat! After all, taking photos of Arky was how I stumbled into photography and found 365.
Unfortunately, Arky continues to be a reluctant model so I am posting an old photo taken with the mobile a short time after joining 365. But it is one of my favourite images.
This is such a warm, supportive community and, without doubt, is the reason I have found so much enjoyment from taking and posting photos. The last year has been a real learning curve. I now have a "real" camera and have started an online photography course ("A year with my camera" which I would highly recommend - thank you @ludwigsdiana for the tip). It is no exaggeration to say I'm hooked!
A big shout out to everyone who has viewed, commented or fav'd any of my posts over the past year - particularly as I have struggled in recent months to find enough time to return the favour.
I already love your photo 4rky - so it will be interesting to follow along and see what tricks and skills you learn from your course. Congratulations on finishing your first year. :)
