If oyu go back, try placing the bench and the building further towards the right side, with the bench down towards the corner. I think that would really open this scene up.
@bankmann I agree about the placement of the bench although, as with most of my street shots, it was taken on the hoof and may well have disturbed the young man if I had doubled back to reframe.
I have a version with the right and top of the frame cropped but it lost the sense of space.
