Homewood Library

Spotted an intriguing mosaic near the local shops. A little bit of research on Google produced the following information: In 1871 Frank and Elizabeth Homewood opened a booksellers and stationers that also operated as a Post Office. Elizabeth kept the place running after Frank's death in 1886 and it remained a family business until it closed in the1980s. The shop now repairs domestic appliances but the mosaic remains as a reminder of days gone by.
Love your shot and narrative!
