Originally dating from 1156 and rebuilt in 1420, much as it still stands today. It is one of England's oldest Inns: large open fireplaces, creaky floorboards and hidden tunnels.... once frequented by smugglers and now supposedly haunted by ghosts!
Had some lovely meals here!! We had a caravan at Camber many many years ago and Rye was our favourite place to wander round!! Must get back there again!!
