The Mermaid Inn, Rye by 4rky

The Mermaid Inn, Rye

Originally dating from 1156 and rebuilt in 1420, much as it still stands today. It is one of England's oldest Inns: large open fireplaces, creaky floorboards and hidden tunnels.... once frequented by smugglers and now supposedly haunted by ghosts!
Beautiful shot, so much history here fav
