Root base of the Piccabeen Palm by 777margo

Root base of the Piccabeen Palm

I have made the decision to close down. I cant seem to cope any more with the new mobile transfers of pics to Picasa. I have to pay someone to come & help me, & I am a slow learner these days. I have thoroughly enjoyed my almost 7 years of doing the pics, but what I have enjoyed most is what I have learned from all of those who support me., about their country & their way of life. In my younger days I traveled extensively & it was always great when someone put up pics of where I had been. Thankyou all so very much & every day I would look forward to seeing everyones pictures. What a joy it has been. Covid has slowed me down a lot,but I have a big garden I like to attend to. It gets me outside, which is what I love most. It has always amazed me how many pics I got onto the Popular Page & the Trending page!! So I guessed I was still doing ok, So thanks for all those Fav,s everyone. Will try to go through individually & say thankyou. That will take me quite a while Blessings to you all Margaret 777Margo
Wonderful lines and textures, such an amazing root system.

No, don't close down. We will miss your pics. I haven't tried uploading to 365 by the phone. I cheat - I email the photo to myself, download to my computer, and then upload to 365. Maybe I should learn to do it from the phone too! Anyway, come up the hill and have a cuppa some time.

Fabulous root system. I have so enjoyed following you and learning about the area where you live. 365 is such a privilege as we are invited into each other’s lives. Hopefully you will dip in occasionally if you have the will to do so. Take care.

Although I am poor at commenting, I will miss your posts. You know what’s best for you. If you like gardening you will be kept busy, and I gather you are involved in other activities where you live. I wish you well on whatever lies ahead.

oh I'm so sad to see you go and don't understand it, but it seems you are doing all this on a mobile device, so probably why I'm a bit in the dark as to what has change for you. I will miss you that is for sure, and hope you love your garden and even stay here and just post every now and then. but you do what feels right and I wish you many wonderful times in your garden

Interesting photo. And I’m in kind of the same boat with computer issues. Most all of my pics this year have been cell phone photos. I have lowered my standards to continue participating in this project. I will certainly miss you and your photos. I hope you will find your way back someday.

@777margo Hi Margaret. I hope you are back on your feet very soon. John and I felt pretty seedy for a day after our first Astra Zeneca shot - but were fine after the second.
