Cool shot. I didn't even know sugar cane flowered - looks like pampas grass (called toetoe in NZ).

Wow like Nick I never realised it flowered but then all plants have a flower of some sort even if you can't see it. Super capture against the lovely sky.

This is so pretty, Margo. I tend to be struck by backlit grass heads, but this shot is equally effective, maybe even more so because the detail isn't blown out. Lovely.

It does look like our pampas grass! Didn't know it looks like this! I expect the canes are more important than the flowers!
