We had a full and a wonderful day with friends arriving from Paris, Texas. This was the first day I felt I didn't have time to give as much consideration as I'd like to taking a photo, and, coming through Mahone Bay on the way home, I had Ken stop the car to take a picture of this home...isn't it adorable? Not a very creative photo, but a darling house!
My friend Nelda told me she'd been showing her 365 photos to her son when they just visited him in NYC, so anytime I told her something about our stay up here, she was already a step ahead of me, quoting something I'd written with my pictures. I really get gabby, don't I!
Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterday's picture and with my buildings in the fog. I want badly to thank each of you, but I know you understand. Sincerely, Thank You...
OK...we only just got up from the dinner table at midnight (our neighbors, Billy & David joining our circle with Nelda & Jim)...it's 1:11AM......I won't be writing much more this evening! Good night, ya'll!
this is someone's house? what a cute idea! i would venture to guess it's a school teacher?? would love to see how they've decorated the inside of it, huh??
It's a wonderful photo Louise! Love the colors! Enjoy the visit with your friends! We're not going anywhere...except to bed...Goodnight right back at ya!
Another charming photo. Reminds me of watching Little House on the Prairie with it's size and classic charm. I could never imagine going to school in a building that small! I'm glad places like this little gem are still around though!!
Ah, Mahone Bay!! I love this so much. There is so much color in NS I think because winter is so long that they need something to brighten the long cold days.
Cute building! I can't imagine teaching in a small school like this, but then again, maybe I would like the freedom that would come with it. Yeah! I think I would.
I don't know the history and if it ever was actually a school house, but it's owned and lived in by a family now. I've passed by and seen them szitting out in the yard a time or two...
Thank you for all the nice comments...I just dropped in post "Breakfast Club" and we're on our way out again in a minute. Lovely weather...lovely friends...
At first I thought this was really a school! (Did it used to be?) Have fun with your friends and stop apologizing for having a full and happy life! LOL!
Oh, this is beautiful! I wish I had been to a school that looked like this instead of some huge big building! Every child everywhere should have stuff like this!
OH...isn't this absolutely gorgeous??
I want to live there!
If I can't live in YOUR Luney home, of course! ;-)
Oh...I finally finished the painting I started and posted, a while back!
And thanks for all of the love, Louise!
Have fun with your guests!
Don't worry about replying!
I know! ;-)

Lovely pic Louise, such a great little house, so different to anything around here in the middle of France. 365 is so good in that you can see so many different things from all over the world.
Don't worry about not posting too much, enjoy your holiday with your friends. My family is coming over tomorrow from the UK so I shall not be around much although the camera will be busy taking pics of my little grandson and my big girls!!
I would like that house! Although red is one of those colours that is meant to influence mood? People might start walking past it and feeling terribly mad until they get out of the front yard and have no understanding as to why! :P
I thought i'd add you to watch because I always check your photos when I remember, so this is a lazier way to keep track - having them delivered to me!
That is such a neat house! I love the two seats in front, too! Ha, by the time you leave Lunenburg, we will know it like the back of our hands! Just watch us!
