This is a beautiful shot! I am very sorry, but I accidentally deleted your one comment on my one picture! I read the first sentence and could tell it was nice, though! So thank you! The other comment is, as always, heartwarming!
beautiful photo - you and I must've had similar thoughts today - both posting shots of gorgeous flowers. I love this time of year, simply for the flowers
I just love this photo! How creative of you to think to take a picture of this phase of the flower arrangement; I agree with Brett about the wistful little petals.
i really like the composition of this ..the way the little flowers have dropped off around it..the colors are gorgeous as well. also love how you cropped it.
Great shot, Louise! I almost did something similar the other day with some sunflowers I had in a vase as they were just starting to wilt...but then I waited too long and they completely collapsed...LOL!
Beautiful picture...and your sentiments are so true. But maybe they aren't meant to be forever...and therefore we enjoy them for as long as we have them.
Lovely composition and sentiments. So important to treasure what we have here and now. Thank you for voting for my photo in the curves theme. Enjoy your weekend :)
The snail is a dainty little blown glass creature, a gift from my friend Nelda on a day we took a trip to The Valley. I love it there amongst the flowers :-)
I recognize those little pink flowers from your cosmos earlier this week. (Must remember flower garnish).
Thanks for your nice comment on the hsot of me and my babies, I appreciate it. Have a wonderful time tonight with your Kappa sister. You do have an exciting social life indeed! L&L
Not even a well-preserved glass snail. :) Nice composition. And at this point, there's no Brad music out there on YouTube. Perhaps we'll remedy that one day... Hope you enjoy catching your breath before the next wave hits.
I love this! I can feel the peacefulness. I so envy you getting to enjoy that place for so long. In just two weeks I get to go camping and I can't wait! Way out in the wilderness with no electricity and no running water. My heaven!
A friend gave me flowers from her garden yesterday at work and they are so lovely - zinnias mostly. I felt sad leaving them for the weekend but it would have been too difficult to bring them home. I hope they are still pretty on Monday!
hi louise--thanks for your comment on my photo of charley. i'm suffering from a migraine this evening, and hit the wrong button by mistake and deleted your comment ):
as for ken's missed photo-op, oh how often i've come across something to snap and haven't had my camera!! poor fellow, i'm sure he was disappointed to miss the opportunity to be a 'contributor' again (heehee). i would have liked to see that scene though! (:
i love that you said i'm on the right "track". it's just so fitting with how i felt today when i actually took the camera when me, my brother and his girlfriend went biking. thanks for the comment, louise.
this is so pretty, i especially like the vase, looks like some kind of jar which i like to use for my flowers :) I'm off to Canada tomorrow! I've got so much to do and totally don't feel prepared for this trip. i will be thinking about you while we are in Canada :)) i won't be on 365 for 2 weeks, will miss you and your photos!
nice simplicity mama :)
re: my artwork, I was not talking to you; I often have to day those words to myself! But if you heard the message, go with it ;)
And yes, the lights were at your fave tapas place. Had dinner with jb and ava, who's in town.
Love how beautiful this is while at the same time foreshadowing what's to come. BTW, you are clearly better than we are changing the water of your flowers. I say that because when the petals start falling off our arrangements, the water is also murky and starting to smell a little rancid :).
this is a lovely shot--i love the wistful little petals that have dropped.
Thank you so much for your warm comments on my trip's picture! I do wish you could arrange a future trip to Peru with Ken, you won't regret it!
In regards to your comment, you nailed it! We were at Oak Alley Plantation and it was divine!
and your friend vera must be so proud of her daughter--ms president, indeed!! (:
thank you for the comments on my pictures--I know you have so many friends--I appreciate you taking the time :)
