All your photos of Dill have been fantastic, but I have to say this is my favorite so far. I love the way he looks as if he knows something you don't. And I'll be dreaming tonight of a beautiful pea-green boat...is that the right song? :)
OOH! OOH! We posted our pics at the same time!
LOVE Dill!
GORGEOUS, soft photo of him.
The colouring is magic!
Of course, the caption is the icing on the apple cake! ;-)
I need to go back and look at all of your pics that Ive missed!
Oh Dill! I have been absolutely loving all of your photos from your trip, especially those of Dill. I love the composition of this shot, and the dof. Oh how I will miss all the photos of Dill when you guys leave NS.
I *love* Lear's poem, "The Owl and the Pussycat." It was actually the first picture book that I bought for Nique (in Honolulu, I think she was five weeks old at the time - LOL!) with illustrations by Jan Brett. Thanks for the memory!
What a great shot. It's perfectly framed with the owl and flowers in the background. And I love the expression on Dill's face. He looks like he means business! He is such a handsome cat and his fur always looks so amazingl soft.
I have 2 cats that have both adorable, and mischievous, personalities. Sound like Dill also enjoys getting attention, and then a treat. My kitties live both inside and out and they come in one door, grab 2 bites of food, and then go straight to the next door to be let out. Around and around they go. We eventually draw the line and out they stay for a while!!! LOL
Thanks, always for the lovely comments, my friend!
And, yes....Mady and I have been internet friends for years and Brad and I have been Real Life friends with her for the last few years.
She posted one of my paintings a few months ago. I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned her before, but as I think about it, perhaps not for a while.
Idge is a new friend that I met last night, though. That she was also on 365 was a surprise....a nice one, though! She's a transplanted Brit, like Craigy...so it was fun to talk to her.
Dill is gorgeous! Nothing like the first white cat that I met who was named Dinah. She belonged to my husband's grandmother. She was the meanest cat alive. Once when I was sitting in the chair in the kitchen...she walked by and hissed at me because I was in her way. Yes, I was afraid of her. So needless to say, I've had a fear of white cats since then! I am happy to know that Dill is not at all like that Dinah. Your caption is perfect....like the owl in the back! hehe!
Ah, one of the rare moments when he lets you take a portrait (without head turning away). My son bought a camcorder and we found out that our two cats prefer to be move stars then photo models, arrrghhh! Beautiful picture of Dill. You did a good job Louise.
Louise, re your comment on my page--there are a few cats that I do like, and I am very sure that Dill would be one of them. I've just never been able to figure them out; for instance, I'd be tempted to rub that beautiful, thick fur under his neck, and he'd probably spit at me for it. :)
I am on vacation and stealing time to look at 365 while my daughter went into work for awhile today. I had to make this picture an immediate favorite. Your posing was a mark of genius. Dill continues to gather fans. The 2 of you make a great team!
Thanks for the comment on my Sim City pic...just had to tell you, though, that there was no fancy editing. It's pretty much SOOC except for a little boost in saturation. I'm amazed, though, that I was actually able to hold my hand still long enough to get it exactly where I wanted it. :-)
Hahaha! This is classic! I love his expression! The owl behind him is just so serendipitous, especially that they're looking in the same direction - straight at the camera! :D

Happy birthday to Heather!
With that look , you'd think that he knew we were admiring his photos :D
Just a perfect shot Louise! Thank you!
Happy (late) birthday to Heather!
If I wasn't so allergic to cats, I'd pat them.
